Thank you for choosing Peace of Mind Pet Care!  Deposits may be placed in advance, otherwise payment would be due at time of service.
For our overnight care services we ask for payment on the first day of service.

Due to the amount of furry friends we care for, we require a minimum of 48 hour notice for all dog walks and visits.  

Overnight care requests must be made 30 days in advance and are based off of availability.
POMPC reserves the right to refuse all services.

Any date discrepancies are subject to an emergency/last minute fee.
Clear communication ensures your pets are cared for on the dates you have requested! All vacation cares are confirmed 1 week prior to the scheduled dates.
Holiday Fee: $10/visit
Emergency & Last Minute Fee: $20/visit
Puppies Under 6 months old: $10 additional/visit


Our pet sitters have veterinary backgrounds and understand how to handle emergencies. We are able to bring your pet to your vet or pet ER in case of any emergency. We ask that you contact your veterinarian to authorize treatment for your pets for all vacation cares just in case. POMPC is not responsible for payment of veterinary services. 





In Case of emergency

Snow Removal Policy

We live in a snowy climate! It is essential that your driveway is plowed and walkway is maintained during snow storms! Please make arrangements PRIOR to any vacation cares and dog walks. We are not responsible for plowing or shoveling during the winter months. If your driveway is not reasonably maintained, we will not be to provide services! The pet owner is still responsible for cancellations due to weather or driveway maitenance.

Cancellation Policy

We understand life changes often! We kindly ask for any updates in changes of plans as soon as able.

Late Cancellation Fees As Follow:
Dog walks: Less than 24 hour notice cancellation fee is $20

Vacation/Overnight Care: Less than 72 hour notice cancellation is 50% of total cost of services.

Liability

POMPC is fully insured.
We are not liable for any lost, damaged or stolen property during dates of service.  POMPC is not responsible for other non POMPC persons during dates of service.  

POMPC is not liable for ingestion of any toxic or harmful household items and food your pet may find in your home. Dogs and cats are curious creatures, and most LOVE food. It is common for dogs to mistake food or items as tasty treats! Toys that can be torn up and subsequently ingested must be put away during the time of service. We are happy to give treats and Kongs to your pups during the time we are attending to errands. PLEASE remove all hazardous toys and toxic foods from your pets access before the time of service. Please let your pet sitter know if your pets have a tendency to chew or be destructive.

Medication Administration

Our pet sitters are skilled in administering oral medications. There is no additional cost for oral medications or supplements. The owner is responsible for providing ample amount of the pet's medication. We are comfortable giving subcutaneous insulin or fluids. This service is available upon request. POMPC reserves the right to refuse service at any time if the pet is fractious or dangerous.

Food preparation is essential to ensure your pet sitter is able to care for your pets while you're away. Please be sure you are providing ample amount of food, any medications and supplements your pet needs. Notes are extremely helpful- Please leave one for us prior to your pet care for any details! In emergencies, POMPC can retrieve food from the store if necessary but are not responsible for the purchase price of the food.
